Through Computational Design, 3D Printing and traditional ceramic production, sound is transformed into fluid, harmonious and uniquely fine ceramics. The Monastery collection is the world's first "Sound-Made Ceramics". A unique collaboration between the legendary Sónia Tavares and the Monastery of Alcobaça in southern Portugal. The singer's tones were recorded at the Alcobáca monastery and translated into fluctuating three-dimensional renderings of a curved vase. Simple in colour palette and complex in form.
