Sandy Haans- van Wel
Not only is she Rens' wife, but she is a communicative marvel with our suppliers and our customers. She processes all purchasing, deals with product photography, knows how to reach our customers on social media and informs all customers and prospects with the mailing. She combines work with caring for their 2 daughters. During school hours in the office and then quickly back at home behind the computer but is there for the children. Family is important and together with Rens they enjoy spending time with their daughters, family and friends. Travelling, enjoying and finding inspiration can now happily be combined.
She never turns her hand to anything and tackles all work immediately. So she left her previous job behind and started working at HAANS Lifestyle immediately in 2019 to assist her husband Rens and the team during Jolien's maternity leave. With this, she has made herself indispensable within the work for Initials by Haans Lifestyle.

Creativity is her strong suit and always busy with design. Not only for work but also definitely at home. She develops beautiful projects for the collection book or webshop and continues to innovate. This also manifests itself in collection development, for which she likes to consult with Rens to come up with new ideas. She has a well of ideas and wishes for the company, but her three-day working week ensures that she works in projects. Digitising helps with this, eliminating a lot of manual work and leaving room for creativity.
At home, Jolien enjoys time with her boyfriend and two sons. They regularly go on holiday, which is always an experience. The fun in life inspires her work.
